Happy Mother's Day

I intend to clean house today. Yuk. That's all I have to say about that.

Tomorrow, I don't expect to fire up my 'puter even once. So, I want to leave a post here for someone very special.

My Friend Rachel. This year will bring to you some very wonderful events and experiences. Your sweet little baby is very nearly ready to arrive, and oh! the excitement you feel. I'm thrilled for you, knowing that your precious little one will fill your heart with love you've imagined for years.

What a blessed little boy he will be!

Tomorrow, feel his kicks and wiggles and rub your belly with the quiet joy of an Expectant Mother. In only a matter of weeks, your life will change forever. And those changes will be greater than you have read, heard or imagined.

Your life will never be the same.

It will be filled with the love a tiny baby.

Happy Mother's Day, Rachel

And to all the other mothers out there, I wish you all a wonderful, home-made-card kind of Mother's Day.

*Because no self-respecting Mommy Blogger would do a Mother's Day post without gratuitous baby pictures?

I was over at BooMamas reading and saw your comment about your daughters baptism. I am so happy for you. I remember when my daughter accepted the Lord--what a beautiful feeling.
You'll take pictures and you will cry -just like you will when she gets married. It is an incredible experience.
Welcome my new sister to the family!

THANK YOU! I am so honored. What a really sweet message! And I love the photo!!!

We are getting excited. Baby started dropping Thursday a week ago (May 3) and this past Friday I went for my alternative medicine appt. She said he was about a -4 or -3 upon arrival...as I got ready to leave I was not feeling my usual relaxed state after our sessions...she checked again (externally) and said I wasn't relaxed because the little (or not so little) guy had dropped to 0 Station!!! Wahoo! She said he may not stay there until delivery, but we know that he can get there. They say that the first baby will drop about 2-4 weeks before delivery...Mom arrives on May 30 (Russ' birthday)...30 or 31st works for me! and would be 4 weeks from first stage of dropping. Keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't decide to hang around in there and be late.

I hope you are having a wonderful Mother's Day and enjoying both of your precious children! My love to you and your family...Rachel
